Artist in the Making (AIM)
Artist in the Making Call for Volunteers!
Artist in the Making (AIM) is a popular PTA-led program that brings parents into each classroom during the school day to introduce students to the work of various artists.
Classroom Volunteer Opportunity: Each 1-hour session starts with a very short lesson about an artist, followed by an art activity related to the artist’s work.
- 22 classrooms
- Minimum 5 volunteers for K-2, at least 3 for 3-6
- Supplies provided by PTA
- Each project is a new artist
- AIM Committee provides all instructions & training
No artistic skills or prior experience needed! This is a fantastic volunteer opportunity that brings parents back into the classroom.
