Family Science Night

Wolftrap Elementary was chosen to host the Family Science Night brought to you by the Children's Science Center!


The event is a two-hour program that provides hands-on activities that demonstrate scientific principles and make STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) learning fun and appealing for students. There will multiple stations for students and parents to visit during the event to take part in science. Activities include: Castle Geometry: Math in 3D!, Are you My Baby?: Animal Adaptations, How Slow Can You Go?: Defying Gravity, Fingerprint Analysis: Forensic Science and Shrink Me!: Taking Metric Measurements among others. 


Interested in Volunteering? A minimum of sixteen volunteers are needed from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m on Oct 9, 2018 to set up, assist students with activities and clean up. All volunteers need to be known and submitted to Children's Science Center by September 25, 2018 so that each may receive a Volunteer Instructional Packet. Without at least 16 volunteers we may have to reschedule so tell your friends!
