Each year, the Wolftrap PTA hosts several events and programs to show school spirit,

build community, learn, and, of course, have fun!

Events
	Wolftrap Under the Stars This is the first PTA event of each schoolyear! The PTA invites Wolftrap families to enjoy music and outdoor activities at the school. Food, drink and desert are available for purchase. Come with chairs and/or picnic blanket and dance the night way!
	Pizza Bingo Join us for a super fun night at the school playing Bingo. Come eat pizza and win prizes at this fun family event. Email: bingo@wolftrappta.org
	Family Science Night This night of science is offered in collaboration with the Children’s Science Center. Parents guide students through engaging, hands-on STEAM activities.
	Book Fair Come discover new books at the annual book fair! A kid favorite- shop their wishlist of favorite titles and earn books and funding for our library. Email: bookfair@wolftrappta.org
	Cultural Arts Assemblies Students are brought together during the school day to enjoy the arts, sciences, music, and dance. Email: culturalarts@wolftrappta.org
	Skate Night Lace up those skates and come for a fun night at a local ice rink reserved for Wolftrap families. Email: skatenight@wolftrappta.org
	Talent Show Come watch as our students show off their talents! A great event to watch our students perform singing, dancing, playing an instrument, comedy, acting and other activities. Email: talentshow@wolftrappta.org
	Edison Expo Students share their STEAM projects with their fellow students and families. 5th and 6th graders compete in the Egg Drop, constructing contraptions to protect an egg dropped from greater than 8 feet. Email: edisonexpo@wolftrappta.org
	Faculty Volleyball Come cheer on our Wolftrap Faculty as they compete against the Louise Archer Elementary Faculty in this epic school spirit event!
	Wolftrap Elementary 5k and Fun Run More than just a run, this is Wolftrap Elementary’s largest community and fundraising event! Come enjoy this annual 5k and Fun Run with games, food, raffle, auction and Fun Zone for all ages. Email: funrun@wolftrappta.org

	Family Science Night Brought to you by the Children’s Science Center. Programs
	After School Programs In Fall and Spring, the Wolftrap PTA after offers a wide-range of school activities to enrich and support students’ growth at school. Enrollment period is offered twice per school year.
	Artist In Making (AIM) Wolftrap’s new and exciting program aims to make every student a lover of art! This in-classroom art program is taught by parent volunteers, exploring six artists during the year and applying art concepts and techniques through hands-on projects.
	Camp Invention A program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Camp Invention is a nationally acclaimed summer STEAM program for grades K-6. Led by our teachers, this program taps into kids' natural curiosity, letting them innovate through teamwork and hands-on creative problem-solving. Email: camp@wolftrappta.org
	Green Team Parent and student volunteers for The Green Team support Wolftrap in increasing connections between learning and the environment, schoolwide. Email: gogreen@wolftrappta.org
	Odyssey of the Mind A creative problem-solving program that involves students from kindergarten through college.  Team members apply critical thinking, team building and problem-solving skills to produce an original performance or presentation. Email: odyssey@wolftrappta.org
	Reflections Art Contest The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. Students express themselves creatively and receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a theme. Email: reflections@wolftrappta.org
	Safe Routes to School Safe Routes to School (SRTS) encourages increased student physical activity by promoting safe and active transport to and from school by walking, bicycling, and other forms of active transport. Join us most weeks for Walking Wednesdays! Email: safereoutes@wolftrappta.org
	Watch DOGS WATCH DOGS is a program for fathers and father-figures to make a positive impact by volunteering in the school. Watch DOGS provides positive male role models for students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Email: watchdogs@wolftrappta.org
	Wolftrap Gives Back Wolftrap Gives Back is a philanthropic collaboration with the school staff to coordinate food, clothing and book drives to help local organizations and families.
