How do I join the PTA?
To join the PTA sign up for a Membership Tool Kit account. You will then be directed on how to join the PTA. Membership is $30 per family.
How can I contact the PTA?
You can contact the PTA board by sending an email to board@wolftrappta.org. You can find other PTA contact information here.
If I join the PTA, am I required to volunteer or go to meetings?
No, you are not required to volunteer or attend meetings. The membership dues help support the programs and events that the PTA sponsors. Volunteering is optional.
PTA PROGRAM & EVENT FAQs
How do I sign my student up for after school activities?
Our after-school clubs are run by a committee of volunteers (afterschools@wolftrappta.org). Keep an eye out for communications (both virtual and take home flyers) for when registration begins. We work with Baroody to provide options for after school activities (pickup typically at 4:25) every full day of school.
Are extended hours available for my student (before or after school care)?
Beyond the Bell (previously SACC) provides a program at Wolftrap before and after school, 7am-6:15pm. Find more information about Beyond the Bell here: FCPS: Beyond the Bell
Where can I get the email address for my student's teacher?

How do I get a school directory?
Join the PTA and get a school directory with your membership here.
How do I order a Wolftrap shirt or other spirit wear?
Visit our page here: Spirit Wear. There is a link there to view the spirit wear options and order online. Please keep in mind that all orders are collected until the specified deadline (one in Fall and one in Spring) and are then submitted together.
INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION FAQs
How do I send out information that is only relevant to a specific class?
Contact your room parent or your teacher to distribute the information to the parents of the class. If you don't know who your room parent is or how to contact them, send an email to us at board@wolftrappta.org and we will put you in touch.
How do I send out information that is only relevant to a specific grade level?
*Contact the grade level room parent to include the information in their next grade level communication.
*Contact the grade level teachers to send out the information by email or hard copy.
How do I send out information that is relevant to the whole school or a large portion of the student body?
*Post the information on the Facebook Group (here) if it is information regarding the school, the PTA, or its programs or events. All posts are reviewed and screened based on their applicability to the school community. Do NOT post information regarding your neighborhood, church, scouting groups, or civic organizations or any commercial solicitations.
*Send an email to Mrs. Hardin (srhardin@fcps.edu) to include the information on the school's morning news show.
*Send an email to secretary@wolftrappta.org to include information in the next edition of the school/PTA newsletter, the Wolftrap Connection, which is distributed every Wednesday.
*Send an email to webmaster@wolftrappta.org to include the information on the PTA web page.
*Ask the front office for permission to send a hard copy flyer home with students.
