New Please see note from the School Health Room.  The Health Room will be available to accept medications during or after Open House on Friday August 25th.  Please do not bring medications or medication authorization forms to school prior to Open House.

New Rising Kindergarteners and Rising First Graders Summer Playdates.  The Welcome Committee has set up the following summer playdates:

  • Wednesday, July 19, 5-6:30pm @ Glyndon Park
  • Thursday, August 24, 5-6:30pm @ Wolftrap Elementary School Playground

New Wolftrap STEAM Lab in the Candace Leyton Innovation Learning Lab (CL3) to open on Monday, June 12th.  Students will be introduced to some of the new technologies offered the last few weeks of school, with over $10k invested by Wolftrap.  Starting in the fall, students will have hour long lessons monthly guided by our Advanced Academics Resource Teacher, Dr. Maggie Grove and our School Based Technology Specialist, Mr. Mathieu Campet. 

New Ms. Katie Abruzzino to retire this year.  Ms. Abruzzino has made significant impacts to our school, having taught Kindergarten at Wolftrap since 2004.  In these years she has nurtured and inspired a love of learning in countless young minds and we are thankful for her positive attitude and joy of children.  Wolftrap will greatly miss Ms. Abruzzino and wish her well as she starts the next chapter of her life.

Beulah Safety Initiative.  Alison Gramann and Jeff Anderson are forming a committee to discuss how to work with the Virginia DOT and Fairfax County DOT to improve safety conditions on Beulah Road.  Click here for more information.

Marshall HS Boys Lacrosse Camp is being offered for 2 sessions for boys in grades 3-8; July 10-14, July 24-28.  See flyer for details.
